Moovez Platform Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how MUV Logistics Network Technologies Ltd. (doing business as “Moovez”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, stores, and otherwise processes personal information through the Moovez Platform, including our website(s), applications, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”).

This Privacy Policy does not apply to personal information collected about employees in an employment context. Where applicable, contractors/drivers may be subject to additional notices or agreements.

By accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge that we will collect, use, and disclose personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable privacy laws.

1) Definitions

“Personal Information” means information about an identifiable individual, or as otherwise defined under applicable privacy law.
“Usage Information” means information collected automatically about how the Platform is accessed or used (e.g., device identifiers, IP address, pages viewed).
“Service Provider” means a third party that processes personal information on our behalf (e.g., cloud hosting, payment processing, analytics, communications).
“You” means the individual accessing or using the Platform, or an authorized representative acting on behalf of an entity.

2) Children and Individuals Under the Age of Eighteen

The Platform is not intended for individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18. If you are under 18, do not use the Platform or provide personal information to us.

If you believe we may have collected personal information from an individual under 18, please contact us using the information in Section 13, and we will take steps to delete such information, subject to legal and technical constraints.

3) Information We Collect

We collect personal information in the following ways:

3.1 Information you provide to us

Depending on how you use the Platform, we may collect:

  • Account and profile information: name, email address, phone number, password (stored in hashed form), account preferences, and verification details (if applicable).
  • Booking and transaction information: pickup/drop-off addresses, booking details, job notes/instructions, item details, service selections, time windows, and transaction history (e.g., dates, amounts, service type).
  • Content you upload or submit: photos/videos of items or spaces, descriptions of items, special handling instructions, and other content you provide to receive a quote or place a booking.
  • Communications: information you provide when contacting us (email, phone, chat), and records of communications. Where permitted by law, we may record calls for training and quality assurance and will provide notice where required.
  • Referrals: if you use “refer a friend” features, we may collect the referrer’s name/email and the recipient’s email solely to send the referral message.
  • Contractor / mover applications (if applicable): name, contact details, proof of work eligibility, identification documents, insurance/vehicle information, banking details for payouts, and other onboarding materials as required to assess and administer a contractor relationship.

3.2 Information collected automatically

When you access or use the Platform, we may automatically collect:

  • Device and technical information: IP address, device identifiers, device type, operating system, browser type, app version, language settings, and crash diagnostics.
  • Usage information: pages/screens viewed, features used, time spent, clicks/taps, referral URLs, session activity, and approximate location derived from IP address.
  • Security signals: information used to detect and prevent fraud, misuse, and unauthorized access.

3.3 Information from third parties

We may receive personal information from:

  • Payment processors: payment confirmation and status, partial identifiers/tokens, and fraud signals. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers; payments are handled by our payment processor(s).
  • Identity verification / fraud prevention providers (if used and where permitted by law).
  • Social sign-in providers (if enabled): information you choose to share through those services, subject to your provider settings.

4) How We Use Personal Information

We use personal information for the following purposes:

4.1 Providing and operating the Platform

  • Create and administer accounts
  • Provide quotes, bookings, deliveries, moving and/or related services
  • Facilitate necessary communications for service fulfillment
  • Process transactions and provide confirmations/receipts
  • Provide customer support and respond to inquiries

4.2 Safety, security, and fraud prevention

  • Verify identity and account access where appropriate
  • Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, and prohibited activity
  • Protect the rights, safety, and property of Moovez, our users, and the public

4.3 Improving and developing our services

  • Analyze and improve Platform performance, user experience, and reliability
  • Debugging, testing, and quality assurance
  • Internal analytics, reporting, and business planning

4.4 Marketing and communications

  • Send service-related communications (e.g., booking confirmations, service notices, policy changes, security messages)
  • Where permitted by law or with your consent, send marketing communications about features, promotions, and updates
    You may opt out of marketing communications as described in Section 10.

4.5 Legal and compliance

  • Comply with legal obligations and lawful requests
  • Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims
  • Maintain records for tax, accounting, compliance, dispute resolution, and enforcement of our agreements

5) Automated Quoting and AI-Assisted Features

Certain Platform features may use automated tools (including AI-assisted systems) to help generate estimates, recommendations, or quotes based on information you provide (including photos/videos, item details, and booking parameters).

These tools are intended to improve speed and consistency; however, outputs may not be perfect in all cases. If you have questions or concerns about a quote or recommendation, you may contact us for assistance using the details in Section 13.

6) Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies (such as pixels, SDKs, local storage, log files, and analytics tools) to:

  • operate the Platform (e.g., authentication and session management)
  • remember preferences
  • understand usage and performance
  • help prevent fraud and improve security
  • measure and improve marketing effectiveness (where applicable)

6.1 Your choices

You can manage cookies through your browser settings and, where available, through cookie preference tools we provide. Disabling cookies may affect Platform functionality.

7) How We Share Personal Information

We do not sell personal information. We may share personal information as follows:

7.1 Service providers

We may share personal information with Service Providers that perform services on our behalf, including:

  • payment processing
  • cloud hosting and storage
  • communications providers (email/SMS/phone)
  • analytics and performance monitoring
  • customer support tools
  • fraud prevention / identity verification (if used)

Service Providers may only use personal information to provide services to Moovez and must protect it under contractual and legal obligations.

7.2 Service fulfillment (movers / contractors)

To fulfill a booking, we may share relevant information with movers, contractors, or partner service providers, such as:

  • name and contact details (or relay contact details if used)
  • pickup and delivery addresses
  • booking details, item notes, access notes, and instructions

They may use this information solely to provide the requested services and as otherwise permitted by law.

7.3 Business transactions

Personal information may be disclosed in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets (subject to confidentiality obligations) and transferred as part of a completed transaction.

7.4 Legal, safety, and enforcement

We may disclose personal information where we believe disclosure is necessary to:

  • comply with a legal obligation or lawful request
  • protect and defend our rights or property
  • prevent or investigate wrongdoing, fraud, or security incidents
  • protect the safety of users or the public
  • establish, exercise, or defend legal claims

7.5 With consent

We may disclose personal information when you direct us to do so or provide consent.

8) Linked Sites

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services. If you follow a link to a third-party website or service, that third party’s privacy practices govern your interaction. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, security, or content of third-party websites or services.

9) User Content and Public Areas

Certain features may allow you to submit content such as photos/videos, comments, reviews, or feedback (“User Content”). You should not submit sensitive personal information through User Content unless specifically requested by Moovez.

If any portion of the Platform allows User Content to be posted publicly (for example, reviews), please note that information you share in public areas may be viewed by others, and we cannot control how others may use that information.

10) SMS/MMS Mobile Messaging

If you opt in to receive SMS/MMS messages from Moovez (the “Messaging Program”), we may send you service-related messages such as booking confirmations, status updates, reminders, and customer support communications. Where permitted by law or with your consent, we may also send marketing messages.

We may use Service Providers to deliver messages and manage the Messaging Program. These Service Providers may process your phone number, messaging status, and related delivery metadata solely to provide messaging services on our behalf.

Opt-out: You can opt out of SMS/MMS messages at any time by replying “STOP” to a message. You may receive a final confirmation message after opting out.
Help: Reply “HELP” or contact us at the details in Section 13.
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

11) International and Cross-Border Transfers

Your personal information may be processed and stored in Canada and/or other jurisdictions where we or our Service Providers operate. Privacy laws in those jurisdictions may differ from the laws in your province/territory. We take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for cross-border transfers and processing.

12) Security and Retention

12.1 Security

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, misuse, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12.2 Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including:

  • while your account is active
  • to provide services and maintain business records
  • to comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations
  • to prevent fraud and enforce agreements
  • to resolve disputes

When information is no longer required, we will delete, anonymize, or securely dispose of it, subject to legal and technical limitations. If you request deletion, we may still need to retain certain information for lawful purposes (e.g., transaction records, fraud prevention, and dispute resolution).

13) Your Rights and Choices

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • request access to your personal information
  • request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
  • request deletion of certain personal information
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent (subject to legal or contractual restrictions)
  • opt out of marketing communications

13.1 Marketing opt-out

You may opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link included in those messages. You may opt out of marketing SMS/MMS (if applicable) by replying “STOP” or following message instructions. Service and transactional communications may continue as necessary.

13.2 How to submit a request (access/correction/deletion)

To submit a privacy request, contact us at team@wemoovez.com with the subject line “Privacy Request” and include:

  • your full name
  • the email/phone associated with your account
  • the type of request (access, correction, deletion, etc.)
  • sufficient details for us to understand and process the request

We may require additional information to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and in accordance with applicable law.

14) Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last Updated” date reflects the effective date. If changes are material, we will provide notice by posting an updated Privacy Policy and/or by other reasonable means (such as email or in-app notice), as required by applicable law.
