Donation run details
Pricing depends on the number of items being donated, required truck size, and number of movers. We do not control what donation centers will accept. Ideally, they’ll take everything, but if they don’t, we’ll try another donation center. If items are still not accepted, they’ll have to be taken to the landfill, which comes with an additional fee. Our goal is always to avoid landfill costs, and we make sure customers understand this clearly before the job starts.

Where do you drop off donated items?
Our team can deliver items to most local donation centers. Please confirm that the donation center accepts your items before scheduling the pickup.
Do you remove items from inside my home?
Yes. Our movers can remove items from inside your home where access allows. Please include any access details such as stairs, elevators, or parking restrictions during booking so our team can plan the pickup properly.
What items cannot be donated?
Items that are damaged, hazardous, or restricted by donation centers cannot be accepted. This may include hazardous materials, chemicals, flammable substances, or unsafe items. If you’re unsure whether an item can be donated, please contact support@moovez.ca before booking.
Do I need to be present during the pickup?
In most cases, yes. Being present helps ensure the correct items are collected and allows our movers to access the pickup location. If alternative arrangements are required, please contact support@moovez.ca before booking.
What happens if the donation center does not accept my items?
Donation centers may decline items based on their condition or current needs. If an item cannot be accepted, our team can help remove it as part of a junk removal service if requested.
